Emily Richardson is a writer, comedian, and performer originally from Cobourg, Ontario. She was the head writer of The Sketchersons, Comedy Bar’s in-house sketch team. She was also a quiz producer/writer on CBC’s Family Feud Canada and CTV’s Battle of the Generations, a longtime understudy/performer/teacher at the Second City Toronto, and a writer for the YouTube docuseries Animalogic (and its BBC Earth spinoff, Strange Creatures of the Arctic). Emily also wrote for the celebrated pop culture & gossip blog, DListed, and hosted/produced Trash Box: A Real Housewives Podcast.
As an actress, Emily has made appearances on What We Do in the Shadows, Sheriff Country, Fellow Travelers, and Haunted Hospitals. She recently starred as Merry in The Unauthorized Hallmark(ish) Parody Musical, which made its world premiere at the Royal Theatre in Little Italy.
